okay I don't know why I find this so fascinating, but this is a truly incredible nature phenomenon. It's of a female praying mantis, a certain carnivorous insect species actually devouring the male DURING, yes during, mating. Vicious! If you're easily ewwed, don't watch it.
And while i'm at it, did you know that hamsters devour their young? The females do when they feel threatened, and the males do to elminate competition.
Lovely world out there, no? :D

Lol there's some type of spider that basically has the male being her bitch trying to impress her before they have sex, THEN if he's lucky she might let him live.
